Further Games and Graphics Concepts



A project made in DirectX to explore further graphics concepts, physics and AI components used in modern games. This covered the following techniques:

• HLSL Shader Language
• Loading vertex, index and texture data from OBJ files and rendering them on screen
• Rendering Terrain from a Heightmap
• Ambient, Diffuse and Specular lighting and materials
• Texturing objects
• Multiple Cameras with different control schemes
• AI Navigation System (A* Pathfinding)
• Rigid Body Physics
• Collision Detection and Response
• Particle System
